Studio 1.30.25 :: panel prep

Soft Poem 6 recently entered a new private collection and one of the first things I did with those funds was buy more of the same sized panels (9" x 12") to continue that series. This afternoon was all about getting a first coat of paint on, then sanding, then another coat and more sanding tomorrow. I'll be ready to go after that. 

I'm excited about this because even though I haven't made any new SPs since my solo show at the Bridgette Mayer Gallery in April/May of 2024, I have a lot of ideas to explore within this series, so I'm keeping them going. 

The new set will number from Soft Poem 17-22. I'm hoping to have most of these completed by mid-March or before. Stay tuned!
