I'm thrilled to announce my first-ever museum solo exhibition at the Zillman Art Museum in Bangor, Maine. With almost thirty pieces, this exhibition focuses on works made between 2023 and 2026 across two bodies of work: the "Tri-form" paintings featuring multi-layered compositions of interconnected triangular forms and new works on unstretched fabric and canvas.

While the "tri-form" paintings are updated versions of ideas from older paintings originally made between 2012-2014. With the newer unstretched fabric and canvas pieces, I'm moving into an area where the work exists somewhere between painting and sculpture. Besides tge change in format, my application of paint leans more into a tactility that's different than my more traditional painting style. These works feature scraped-on layers of paint that resemble geologic topography. They also relate to an early interest I had in landscape as a younger painter.
